Lillian C. Nolan95, of Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2006. She was born on Spetember 11, 1910, in Albany, Kentucky, to the late James O and Elizabeth (Beard) Cole. Mrs. Nolan was a school teacher for 57 years, until retiring in 1987. She was a member of the Allisonville Christian Church in Indianapolis, the First Christian Church in Albany, Ky, and a life-long member of the Eastern Star.Her grandchildren Bill and George Alan Nolan, one great-grandchild survive her. Her parents preceded her in death, as well as her husband William N. Nolan, son George P. Nolan and sisters Elise Cole and Pearl Conner.Visitation will be held at Harry Moore Family Mortuary, Allisonville Road Chapel, on Thursday, February 9, from 4 to 7:30 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm. The service will be officiated by Rev. Robert Riester. Visitation will also be held at Haddix Funeral Home in Albany, Ky, on Saturday, February 11, from 9 to 11 am with services at 11 am. Burial will follow at Albany Cemetery, Albany, Ky. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allisonville Christian Church, 7701 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
